Christmas Promotion 2024 – Terms and Conditions

1. Promotion Overview

• Promotion Period: This Promotion is valid from December 1st, 2024, to January 31st, 2025.
• Promotion Description: Apply for a credit card or MoMoney (our unsecured loan) during the Promotion Period for a chance to win an XCD $1000 grocery shopping spree.
• Eligible Account: An NBD credit card or loan (MoMoney) account that satisfies the eligibility requirements for the Promotion as detailed in the Terms and Conditions.
• Eligible Account Holder: Any account holder of an NBD Standard and/or Gold credit card or unsecured loan (MoMoney) that satisfies the eligibility requirements for the Promotion as detailed in the Terms and Conditions.
• The Prize: A grocery shopping spree valued at XCD $1000.

2. Eligibility

• The Promotion is open to residents of the Commonwealth of Dominica who are 18 years of age or older.
• Employees of the National Bank of Dominica Ltd. (NBD) and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and their immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, cousin, aunt, uncle, grandparents, husband, wife) are not eligible to participate.
• Only new applications for credit cards or MoMoney (unsecured loans) submitted during the Promotion Period are eligible.
• The Prize Draw is open to any Primary Account Holder of a National Bank of Dominica Ltd. Account, where such account meets the following requirements during the applicable Promotion Period and at the time of the Prize Draw (hereafter ‘Eligible Account Holder’ or ‘Eligible Applicant’):
  • The account or product is for personal use, not business use.
  •  The account is open, active, and operational during the applicable Promotion Period and before the Prize Draw associated with the Promotion Period.
  • The account and all associated cards are valid and in good standing at all times during the currency of the Promotion Period and at the time of the Prize Draw.
  • During the Promotion Period, eligible debit transactions have been made on any personal credit card associated with the Eligible Account.

3. Entry Requirements

• To enter the Promotion, participants must submit a completed application for a credit card or unsecured loan within the Promotion Period.
• Applications must meet the standard approval criteria and be approved for the credit facility (credit card or MoMoney) within the Promotion Period.

4. Prize Details

• A total of two (2) winners will be awarded, one winner per product category (credit card and MoMoney).
• The prize must be credited to the winner’s NBD account. (not applicable in this case if gift vouchers are used).

5. Winner Selection

• Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
• The draw will occur within two (2) weeks following the end of the Promotion Period.
• The Winning Entrants will be contacted using the last known telephone number on NBD’s records. If the winner cannot be contacted on the day of the Prize Draw, the next qualified Entrant, in order of selection from the pool of Entrants, will be contacted until a winner has been reached.

6. General Conditions

• By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
• NBD reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion without prior notice.
• NBD is not responsible for any technical or other issues that may interfere with the Promotion.
• The Winning Entrants will be required to attend the office of NBD in person to collect the Prize no later than fourteen (14) days after being contacted by NBD and confirming receipt of the Prize and must present a valid government-issued photo ID.
• If a Winning Entrant cannot collect the Prize in person, a representative may collect the Prize on the winner’s behalf. Representatives must present a notarized copy of the Winning Entrant’s government-issued photo ID, a valid government-issued photo ID of the representative, and must be 18 years or older.

7. Privacy

• Personal data collected during the Promotion will be used in accordance with NBD’s privacy policy.
• By participating, entrants agree to the collection and use of their information as described in the privacy policy.
• The Winning Entrants, by accepting the Prize, consents to NBD, at its sole discretion, publishing their names and photographs and any statements made by or attributed to them in relation to the Prize Draw or Promotion. Additionally, Eligible Account Holders and Applicants consent to all publicity associated with this Promotion.

8. Limitation of Liability

• NBD is not liable for any losses or damages arising from or in connection with the Promotion.
• By entering the Prize Draw and accepting the Prize, the winners consent to use their name, voice, likeness, and image for publicity purposes without compensation, further permission, or prior notification. If a winner is unwilling to consent to these terms, the Prize will be forfeited.

9. Governing Law

• This Promotion and its terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
