The National Bank of Dominica Ltd. (NBD) commenced its first beautification project on the Canefield Highway between the bridge to the south and Canefield airport to the north. Employees from the Bank, the Canefield Urban Council, Mac’s Plants Nursery, and members of the community all worked together to beautify the highway by planting flowers. The overall aim of the Canefield Highway Beautification project are to help make the community attractive place for the locals and visitors, build and maintain NBD’s relationship with the community while promoting volunteerism and teamwork among staff. NBD has also collaborated with Mac’s Plant Nursery for maintenance of the plants.
