There are no fees associated with opening an account. A minimum opening deposit amount of EC$100 is required.
A Certificate of Deposits (CD) is a savings product that earns interest on a lump sum for a fixed period of time. A CD has a maturity date, a specified interest rate, and can be issued in any demonination. See requirements here.

The minimum opening deposit for a CD is EC$5000. The convenient terms available are 12 months, 24 months, 36 months.

If no renewal instructions are received prior to maturity, the CD will renew automatically for the same term, at prevailing interest rates.

To activate your account, you will need update your account information and complete an over-the-counter deposit transaction or withdrawal at any one of our branches. If your account is dormant, you will go through the new account opening process.
